How to Hand Wash a Dish Rack
Mold and mildew can easily form on a dish rack if it is not cleaned frequently. You can effectively hand-wash the rack with a clean cotton cloth and some common household ingredients. With a small investment of time and energy, you can keep your dish rack clean.
Instructions
1 Rinse your dish rack under hot running water to remove any debris that may have built up on the surface.
2 In a small bowl, combine three parts water to one part vinegar.
3 Dampen a clean cotton cloth with the vinegar solution.
4 Wipe down the entire dish rack with the damp cloth.
5 Use an old toothbrush to scrub hard-to-reach areas of the dish rack.
6 Dampen another clean cotton cloth with warm water and thoroughly wipe the entire dish rack to remove any cleaning residue.
