How to Attach a Bathroom Magazine Rack to a Vanity
Bathroom magazine racks are often shaped like a ladder: Each tread or metal bar steps back from the one below. Because the bars are spaced a few inches apart, you can hang a magazine over the bars. A single rack can hold six or more magazines. If there is ample space from the commode to the side of the vanity, then mounting a magazine rack on the vanity is a great use of space. Select a rack that matches the metal finish of your bathroom.
Instructions

1
Measure the side of the vanity. Locate the center of the available width and mark the width of the rack on the vanity.

2
Measure up from the bathroom floor at least 12 inches. Mark the bottom bracket locations of the rack. Allow at least 9 inches from the bottom bar to the floor for the magazines to hang.

3
Hold the rack against the vanity and use a level across the top and sides to ensure the bars will be level.

4
Screw through the rack brackets into the side of the vanity with screws and a screwdriver. If your vanity is thin-walled, consider using bolts, nuts and washers as the rack and magazines can be heavy.
